One thing that you must remember is a wrongful death case is prosecuted by the personal representative of the estate. That person is the quarterback of the case. That is the person who makes the decisions in the case. The heirs can hire their lawyers, and if there is disagreement, it can cause problems, notwithstanding the fact that the personal representative makes the final decision.
